Whitman County Humane Society - 0456539

"The Whitman County Humane Society (WCHS) must move its pet shelter because the City of Pullman is reclaiming the building and land for other projects. AnimalHaven, located at the corner of Johnson Road and Old Moscow Highway in Pullman, WA., will be the new pet shelter owned and operated by WCHS...

The new shelter will NOT serve as an animal sanctuary; it is a temporary home for pets awaiting adoption...Ultimately, AnimalHaven will include: Living areas for 50 dogs and 50 cats, administration and shelter operations in one location, space for public education programs, a reception area for families to get to know their prospective pet, and a state-of-the-art, on-site surgery suite...

The estimated cost of construction for Canine Village 1 and the Interim feline Care Center is $1.36 million.  So far, WCHS has raised $1.17 million." ~ Whitman County Humane Society
